I believe this will be the last planting of cool season crops for the spring. These veggies will be harvested at the end of May and into June. The weather begins to get too warm and the greens quickly bolt. They put energy into producing flowers/seed rather than foliage.

Since succession planting for spring greens worked well last year, I’m going to do the same this year. I’m also scaling back a bit on the amount of plants since I found I could harvest leaves of the greens as I need them, instead of the whole plant. Here is what went into a 4’x4′ raised bed today.
