The first real frost for the Lot occurred last night as the temperature dipped down to 30 degrees. This morning found the pumpkin plant and the basil stick-a-fork-in-it done. The foliage was limp and dark. I finished cleaning out the veggie beds and putting away the supports. Only the parsnips, green onions, and chives remain in the beds.
